| 概要 | The aim of this study was to explore parent-child relationships in adulthood. In this study, 1404 men and women aged 20-59 years old were asked about their demographic variables (age, child, marital status), perception of aging parent, consciousness and feelings for their parents. The main results were as follows. On the whole, both men and women tend to receive psychological support of their parents from 20s until 40s. Men who had children or got married reported positive consciousness and feelings. On the other hand, divorced people tended to report negative feelings for their parents. These results suggest that parent-child relationships in adulthood may change through various life events. |
