| 概要 | The aim of this study was to explore parent-child relationships in adulthood. In this study, 1022 men and women aged 20-59 years old were asked about their demographic variables (age, child, marital status), perception of aging parent, the degree to which parents can manage their daily lives, attitudes for aging parents. The main results were as follows. Five attitudes for aging parents were extracted, ‘sadness about aging parents’, ‘anxiety over parents old age’, ‘generativity evoked by parental aging’, ‘caring about aging parents’, ‘feeling of burden for aging parent’. With aging, participants tend to support attitudes for ‘sadness about aging parents’, ‘anxiety over parents old age’, ‘caring about aging parents’, ‘feeling of burden for aging parent’. On the other hand, both men and women who had children tend to have feeling for ‘generativity evoked by parental aging’. |
